June 27th, 2009
Just got back from spending the day in Cali with my fam. I guess those are the perks of my Dad working for SW Airlines.. we can just hop on a plane to anywhere just like we’re driving down the street. I’m exhausted, but it was great reuniting with our relatives and spending that quality time with my loved ones.
Today marks one week since Michael has been home. We’ve had an amazing week together.. filled with lots of love and every day and night well spent. The first couple of nights, we spent with our friends and each other. We saw Ryan and Danela’s new house, ate at a local bar, then drank all night the first night. The second day, was Father’s day, and my fam was having a partay at my house. Michael showed up with his uniform on and totally impressed my parents :] Monday, we ate breakfast with Lily and Michelle, had lunch at Kabuki, then met up with Dre and Jelissa to watch the premiere screening of Transformers at 7PM in Town Square. After the movie, Dre, Jelissa, Mike, and I pre gamed in Southpoint’s parking garage before going midnight bowling. After bowling, we ate $2.99 breakfast at the cafe downstairs :P Monday was the first night we stayed all night together :] It was great waking up to each other again. Tuesday, we went over to Ryan and Danela’s again, went swimming then caught Kabuki’s happy hour for the second time in one week. I think I got Michael hooked. Lol. Wednesday, Mike did work at Orleans while I searched all over Las Vegas for a freaking nose ring hoop. And failed miserably -__- lol. We later met up and ate Vietnamese food :P We chilled for the rest of the night and prepped a bit for our party the following night. On Thursday, we had our party at Palms Place. We picked up some alcohol and snacks before checking in around 3-ish. We immediately took advantage of our $50 credit towards Simon and ate theee best sushi we’ve ever had in our entire lives. After our late lunch, I laid out on our balcony suite trying to steal every bit of sun that was left, while Mike hit the casino. Around 8-ish, Tiff was the first to arrive and she gave Michael a book about Japan. It was so sweet of her :] More people showed up and the night ended up being a huge success. Everyone had a blast! The day after, Mike and I spent about 5 hours at the spa together. We checked out, and went over to Ryan and Danela’s. I had to go home a bit early because I had to wake up the next morning to go to Cali with my fam.
And now I’m home :] And we have one more week to spend together. I wish the days would go by slower but I’m happy that all of our time has been well spent together.
Anyway, I’m tired. And sore :[ So I’m guna rest up a bit. Goodnight!
